Welcome at PINTOMAP, the geographic web search engine for location related services and information. For a start the current prototype includes more than 245,000 articles from Wikipedia that are displayed on Google Maps via Pins, there is more to come.

Die USS Lexington (CV-2) und ihr Schwesterschiff, die USS Saratoga (CV-3) waren die ersten beiden Flugzeugträger der US-Marine, die zwar zuerst als Schlachtkreuzer geplant und auf Kiel gelegt, aber nach einer Entscheidung vom 1. Juli 1922 dann als Flugzeugträger gebaut wurden.
