Welcome at PINTOMAP, the geographic web search engine for location related services and information. For a start the current prototype includes more than 245,000 articles from Wikipedia that are displayed on Google Maps via Pins, there is more to come.
About PINTOMAP
Akulivik ist eine Inuit-Siedlung in der Region Inuvik, Nord-Québec, an der Westküste der Ungava-Halbinsel mit etwa 500 Einwohnern. Das Inuktitut-Wort Akulivik leitet sich von der geografischen Lage ab, einer Halbinsel, die wie ein dreizackiger Fischspeer, Kakivak, in die Hudson Bay ragt; Akulivik ist der mittlere Zinken.
