サルガッソ海（—かい）はバミューダ諸島の南東と西インド諸島の間にある海域。浮遊性の海藻「サルガッスム (Sargassum)」にちなんで「サルガッソ海」と呼ばれており、「粘りつく海」といわれるのも、この海藻によるものである。
