Welcome at PINTOMAP, the geographic web search engine for location related services and information. For a start the current prototype includes more than 245,000 articles from Wikipedia that are displayed on Google Maps via Pins, there is more to come.

Semey (Kazachs-cyrillisch: Семей; Russisch: Семипалатинск; [Semipalatinsk]) is een stad in de Kazachstaanse oblısı Şığıs Qazaqstan iets ten zuiden van de Russische kraj Altaj en op ongeveer 1000 kilometer ten noorden van Alma-Ata en 700 kilometer ten zuidoosten van de Russische stad Omsk aan de rivier de Ertis (Irtysj). Tot 1994 heette het Semipalatinsk.
